Remember, when we would look for different shapes and pictures in the moving clouds?
"Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass on a summer day listening to the murmur of water, or watching the clouds float across the sky is hardly a waste of time" -John Lorbock
And then the monsoons arrive in the west!
An exhilarating experience!
These next pictures are taken in my yard looking up!
There was thunder and lightning and even a few BIG DROPs of rain.

Nice. Greg and I watch the sunset colors alot. Living on the 2nd floor both here and in Salt Lake, we notice and see the sky all the time. It is very relaxing. I like monsoon's too.
i strive to take way more opportunities to do things like just lie in the grass with a child or grandchild and look at the clouds, their shapes and all this beautiful earth has to offer.
i could improve on this.
i need to slow down.
It is hard to find grass in Arizona that an old woman could lie on and gaze at the clouds. I probably would look funny doing this, but the thought is such a pleasant one. Of course, I would wait until spring or fall when it is cool in Arizona to do this dream.
