Indian Food Tastes Good!

Aloo Gobhi (Potatoes and Cauliflower)
This vegetable dish is made slowly with curry powder and other fragrant seasonings.
Thanks to Prerma at Indian Simmer we enjoyed this very much.

We shared an Indian dinner with our friends.
Along with the Aloo Gobhi we had Tadka tomatoe dal (lentils),
fresh cucumbers, steamed broccoli, rice and chicken.

The chicken was my own recipe.
First I marinated chicken thighs in:
1/2 cup orange lime juice
1/4 cup olive oil
1 Tablespoon ginger paste
4-5 cloves garlic minced.
The next day, I cooked it in 2 Tablespoons olive oil.
Season with salt and pepper
Then serve on rice.

Sunday, we shared with two more who thoroughly enjoyed
the Indian flavors!

Kulfi with saffron.
A common Indian dessert.
Similar to ice cream.
Mmmmm MMmmm Mmmm!

I cooked and served all week end! What fun!

That looks so good. I bet the house smelled really good too.

You should open your own place.
Gourmet Picnics, bed & breakfast, something like that. You have a couple of boys that enjoy that kind of stuff too, that could help.

I see my dad's shirt.
It looks good on Dillion.
