"My heart leaps up when I behold

A rainbow in the sky" -William Wordsworth

"...The sure tie
Of thy Lord's hand, the object of His eye!
When I behold thee, though my light be dim
Distinct, and low, I can in thine see Him
Who looks upon thee from His glorious throne,
And minds the covenant between all and One."
-Henry Vaugn (rainbow)

hmmm? Rainbows.
I have to think about that.
does that mean I searching for a pot of gold, and as usual, I'm always going the wrong way?

Maybe there is no pot of gold on either end.

Sheila gave me a placque for my wall that says,
"the way I see it, if you want the rainbow you gotta put up with rain." -dolly parton

Rainbows. Color. Promises.
??
What made you think of me, when you read that?

I wasn't thinking as deep as you. I just thought you would appreciate the humor in it. You, know Murphy's law. Dad would have liked it, I think.

I thought it would make you smile. It seems no matter how hard we try sometimes, what we want is always just out of reach.

On the serious side, Rainbows are from our Heavenly Father, to remind us that he has promised never to destroy the earth by a flood again. Genesis 9:11-16. That's why I posted the poem quote from Henry Vaugn. What a lovely gift, only our Creator would think of!
