Matthew 26:32, 28:7, 10, 16; John 21:1-25Altogether, Jesus shows himself alive to his disciples for a period of 40 days following his resurrection. During these appearances he instructs them about the Kingdom of God, and he emphasizes what their responsibilities are as his disciples. While the apostles are still in Galilee, Jesus evidently instructs them to return to Jerusalem. He then gives them further information.

I found it interesting that Mary Magdalene and other women went to the tomb with spices to treat Jesus' body and when they found it empty, Mary ran off to tell Peter and John. The other women stayed. Soon an angel appeared to them and told them that Jesus had been raised up, "Go quickly and tell his disciples," the angel instructed. While these women were hurrying to tell the men, Jesus himself appeared to them, "Go, report to my brothers." he told them (Matt 28:1-10; Mark 16:1,2; John 20:1,2) Mary not aware of the angels visit and grieving deeply, returns to the tomb, Jesus appeared to her there, and after she finally recognized him, he said, "Be on your way to my brothers and say to them, "I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God."-John 20:11-18; Matt28:9, 10.
Jesus could have appeared first to Peter, John or one of the male disciples. Instead he chose to favor these women by making them the first eyewitnesses of his resurrection and by commissioning them to bear witness about it to his male disciples. How did the men react? The record states, "These sayings appeared as nonsense to them and they would not believe the women."-Luke 24:11. Could it be they found the testimony hard to accept because it came from women? Later, they recieved abundant evidence of his being raised. It is truly heart warming to see how Jesus dealt with women. He was compassionate and balanced, he neither exalted them or belittled them. He repudiated the rabbinic traditions that stripped women of dignity and that invalidated the Word of God. By treating women with honor and respect, Jesus revealed how Jehovah God feels women should be treated. Jesus set the example for men to follow.
Very much so and obviously these women had a very special connection and relationship with Jesus.
the miracle of the resurrection is amazing.
the focus on the atonement, on the resurrection and on the fact that Christ will come again are the things most important and the things to focus on every single day.
i enjoy your perspective, your beliefs and how obvious it is, as to where your heart is.
Just remember, what the Bible says, is more important then a single person's opinion.
