Taking time to visit!
I am smiling so big not only because I have my friend visiting me, but, when Dennis told her this is picture is for the blog, Robin is saying, "HI SANDY!"
We had a little lunch and long relaxing visit, just what we need in life.
That is so sweet. Tell her I say Hi. She is such a wonderful lady. I really like her & Sharon. She was so thoughtful to come meet me and visit with me for a couple days. Good to see you girls visiting.
When you meet someone new, the first thing you learn about that person is his name. Does God have a name? Many religions answer that his name is "God" or "Lord", but those are not personal names. They are titles, just as "king" and "president" are titles. The Bible teaches that God has many titles. However, the Bible also teaches that God has a personal name: Jehovah.
Psalm 83:18 says: "You, whose name is Jehovah, you alone are the Most High over all the earth."
A number of translations have left out the name Jehovah in this scripture and replaced it with titles such as "Lord" or "Eternal." The truth is that in the original Hebrew manuscripts, a unique personal name is found in this scripture. It is spelled (YHWH) in Hebrew letters. The most common English rendering of that name is "Jehovah." It appears in the original Hebrew Scriptures nearly, 7,000 times !
Jehovah wants you to know his name and to use it. Compare: Matthew 6:9; John 12:28.
God gave himself a name that is full of meaning.
The name Jehovah means: "He Causes to Become."
That means that God can fulfill any promise he makes and can carry out any purpose he has in mind. God's name is unique, one of a kind, It belongs only to him. Jehovah himself is unique.
Revelation 15:3 says: "Great and wonderful are your works, Jehovah God, the Almighty. Righteous and true are your ways, King of eternity."
The title "Almighty" teaches us that Jehovah is the most powerful being there is. His power is unmatched; it is supreme.
The title, "King of eternity" reminds us that Jehovah is unique, in that he alone has always existed, Psalm 90:2 says: "Even from time indefinite to time indefinite [or, forever] you are God."
Jehovah is also unique in that he alone is the Creator, Revelation 4:11 reads: "You are worthy, Jehovah, even our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created."
Everything! From the invisible spirit creatures in heaven to the stars that fill the night sky to the fruit that grows on trees to the fish that swim in the oceans -all of it exists because Jehovah is the Creator!
Keep silent before Jehovah and wait longingly for him.
Do not show yourself heated up at anyone making his way successful, At the man carrying out his ideas.

Joseph's brothers come to Egypt for food. Joseph remembers the dream he had about his brothers bowing down to him. He understands that God has allowed him to be in the position he is now in, for a purpose. What will Joseph do? Please read the above Bible account then answer these questions:
Why does Joseph accuse his brother's of being spies?
Why does Jacob let his youngest son, Benjamin, go to Egypt?
How does Joseph's silver cup get into Benjamin's bag?
What does Judah offer to do to gain Benjamin's release?
How have Joseph's brothers changed?
How is Joseph's expression at Genesis 42:18 a fine reminder to those with responsibility in Jehovah's organization today? (Neh 5:15; 2 Corinth 7:1, 2)
How did Joseph evidently test his brothers and why? (Gen 43:33, 34)
As part of the ruse to hide his identity from his brothers, how did Joseph represent himself? (Gen 44:5, 15; Lev. 19:26)
How did Joseph's brothers show that the envious spirit they formerly had toward their brother was now gone? (Gen 44:13, 33, 34)
How long will Joseph keep his identity hidden? How long will he be able to control his feelings? Please read the following link for the answer.
